Thomas E 'Ed' Myatt Sr.

Thomas "Ed" Myatt Sr., age 71 of Toledo passed away Tuesday May 18, 2010 in his residence. Ed was born on April 15, 1939 in Amory, Mississippi to Woodie and Mable (Vannetta) Myatt. Ed started in the printing business when he was 18 years old and was the former owner of Myatt Graphics Inc. Thomas was preceded in death by his son; Thomas E. Myatt Jr. Surviving are his wife of 28 years Carol (Deeb), Daughters, Kelly Gasoway, Patricia Fall, step-children, Stephanie (Doug) Blair, Jeff Smith, grandchildren, Jason Blair, Alex Blair, Abbi Bandeen, Jeremy Fall, Hunter Myatt, Holden Myatt, Rachel Myatt, Crystal, also surviving are 8 great grandchildren. The Myatt family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Nurses and Aids of Heartland Hospice for the care of Thomas. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd. on Friday May 21 from 6-8 p.m. A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday followed by a private burial in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor's choice.
