Sowad Sagman

Sowad Sagman, 83, of Toledo passed away on June 26, 2021. Sowad was born on July 18, 1937, in Busra, Iraq to Albert and Rosemary (Tassy) Farage.

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband George Sagman; son, Basil Sagman; and great-granddaughter Leilah Sagman.

Surviving is her loving son, Layth (Nancy) Sagman of Toledo; daughter, Lubna (Jalal) Selwan of Windsor, Canada. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Natasha (Brandon) Sagman and Suad Sagman of Toledo, and Tina Selwan and Rogier Selwan of Windsor, Canada as well as seven of her loving great-grandchildren.

The family will receive family and friends in a private celebration of her life on Wednesday June 30, 2021 at 10AM at Bersticker-Scott Funeral home, 3835 Heatherdowns Toledo Ohio.
