Mary Ann Wolf, age 75, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio, after a very short battle with cancer. Born on February 18, 1950, she attended Macomber Whitney High School, graduating in 1968. She proceeded to build a fulfilling career in administrative work and dedicated nearly two decades of service to the Ohio Education Association before retiring.
Mary Ann was a devoted mother and grandmother whose love for her family was unwavering. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jamie Shaw and Cynthia (Michael) Roger; her cherished grandchildren, Riley Shaw, Brady Shaw, Madison Rogers, Colin Shaw, Mila Shaw, Aubrey Roger, and Jonathan Roger; and her brother Allen (Judy) Simon. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who were touched by her warmth. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Eileen (Frost) Simon; her sister Carol Dodd; and her granddaughter Victoria McLaughlin.
A woman of many talents, she found joy in crafts, sewing, crocheting, and watching football. Her creativity was evident in the handmade gifts she often shared with loved ones. Her home was filled with the comforting presence of her handiwork alongside her angel decor.
Above all else, Mary Ann's heart belonged to her family. She especially adored her grandchildren, who brought immense joy into her life. Her love for them was one of the brightest parts of her world and is a bond that will continue to live on through their memories. Those who knew Mary Ann will remember her for the kindness she extended freely, the strength she carried quietly, and the love she gave unconditionally.
May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Visitation will be held on January 19, 2026, from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne. Visitation will be followed by services at 11:00, then Interment in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
