Kenneth R. Hahn Sr., a resident of Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, Holland, Ohio formerly of Toledo, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 in St. Luke's Hospital just in time to spend Valentine's Day with the love of his life his wife Roselyn. Ken was born January 5, 1915 in Toledo, Ohio to David and Pearl (Leornwall) Hahn. Ken owned gas stations on the East Side of Toledo for many years, owned a hardware store in the South End of Toledo then worked and retired from Penta County School System. For the next 25 years Ken worked for his son's kitchen business David Hahn Kitchens and Baths. Ken was a graduate of Waite High School, after graduating he went on to play many amateur sports. His true love was playing the trumpet with many of the Big Bands in Toledo and surrounding areas. He and his wife were avid travelers who visited every state in the United States something he was very proud of. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Roselyn, parents and his sister, Elenore and brother Frederick. Surviving are his sons, David (Darlene), Gary (Linda), and Ken Jr."Bud", 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. A private family service will be held at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. The family would like to thank the staff of Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek for the care shown to ken the last 5 years of his life. The family suggests memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospitals.
