Florence "June" Lark Florence "June" Lark, of Maumee Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the University of Toledo Medical Center on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. June was born on June 7, 1922 in Toledo, Ohio to Daniel and Letha (Noll) Tailford. As a young girl, June lived through the hardships of the great depression, and then the separation from her love, Richard Lark, as he went off to fight in WWII. June joined in the war effort making airplane parts at LOF in Rossford, Ohio. She waited patiently for him to return as he healed from his war injuries. Even with the birth of their first child, June could be found working alongside her husband as they built a new home together. Later, as her family grew, June was not only a homemaker, but also helped with the family's businesses including a grocery store Located in Maumee, Ohio, which the family built from the ground up, and later became Ned's Foods and also the Windmill Restaurant in Toledo, Ohio, where she worked along side all 3 of her children. June enjoyed the outdoors, camping with family, visits to the metro parks, and gardening. June also enjoyed family vacations, traveling to Florida and Tennessee. However June's greatest love was caring for her family. She provided love and support to her parents, her husband and children, and took great pride in caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. June was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Letha Tailford, husband, Richard H. Lark, daughter, Connie Wolfram, and her siblings, Ernest Tailford, Robert Tailford, Mary Martin, and Grace Bollinger. June is survived by her daughter, Sharon Bolinger (Butch), son, Richard G. Lark (Linda), grandchildren, Jason Bolinger (Stacy), Sean Wolfram, Shannon Grabke (Steve Jr.), Brandon Erme, Brittany Lark, Bryan Erme. She will also be greatly missed by her 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd on Tuesday June 21, 2011 5-8 P.M. A private family graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family towards final funeral expenses.
