Elmer Dale Yeary Sr., 43, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Monday, August 10th, 2020. He was born July 29th, 1977, in Des Moine, Iowa to Linda "Lulu"(Schwirzinski) Yeary and (D.D.) Dennis D.Yeary. He was the third of four children.
Growing up he had three siblings, Scott, Randy and Denise. They were partners in crime and raised hell together. Throughout his teenage years he had some of the best times of his life with them making a lot of crazy memories that they all will never forget.
Elmer was a vibrant, smart and loving man. In Elmer's early years he helped his dad on the family farm in Tennessee. Working sun up to sundown. Elmer became a tool and die maker after high school for several years before becoming a roofer and carpenter. He worked side by side with his three son's, calling them the " YBG", Yeary Boy Gang. He taught them how to build, hunt, fish and most of all, how to be strong young men.
Elmer was a family man. His biggest accomplishment was becoming a father of six. Allison D. Yeary(Sunshine), Nikolas M. Yeary, Kyra R. Honsberger(Princess), Elmer D. Yeary Jr., Elyjah D. Yeary and Karley Nicole Jean Honsberger. He surrounded himself with his children and always showered them with love and laughter. He was adventurous. He enjoyed traveling and carried that passion onto his children. To say he was an amazing father was an understatement. He was always hands on with his children and they looked up to him. He was a Saint in their eyes. Elmer was an amazing man and incredibly loving father. His children will never forget the endless love he had for each of them and will miss him dearly.
Elmer will always be remembered for those big brown eyes, that beautiful smile and his eccentric personality. We will never forget the memories and the colossal impact he had on each and everyone of us. He brought a tremendous amount of love to the world and you never left him without a smile on your face.
Please say a prayer for his children and family to guide them through this difficult time. May the Lord wrap his arms around each and every one of them and comfort them in their time of discomfort. In Jesus name, Amen.
"If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever."
Forever in our hearts until we meet again.
Thank you for all of your love and support.
