Wilma L Beening

Wilma L. Beening Wilma L. Beening, 91, passed away on March 17, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Wilma was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 15, 1921 to William and Stella (Keller) Moebius. She resided in South Toledo for 60 years before moving to West Park Place in 2010. Wilma was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and was a charter member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church. She volunteered at the church and also at St. Luke's Hospital. Wilma especially enjoyed playing cards with her friends at West Park Place and with her brother and sister-in-law on Saturday nights. Wilma worked for Foodtown in Southland Shopping Center for several years. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Beening, granddaughter, Leslie Beening, sisters, Dorothy, Collette, Estelle, and Donna, and brother, Bill. Surviving are her son, Fred (Janet) Beening, daughters, Judy (Tim) Waltzer, Diane (Jim) Bowser, brother, Russell (Barbara) Moebius, grandchildren, Kim Hanson, Justin (Kelly) Canfield, Jeff (Karen) Waltzer, Sarah (Andy) Radabaugh, Meghan (Kevin) Serres, great grandchildren, Haley and Autumn Canfield, Natalie Hanson, Lauren, J.T., and Ty Waltzer, Keaton and Zander Serres, Gabriel, Evan, and Noah Radabaugh. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd, on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 2-8 P.M. with scripture services at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will begin Saturday March 23, at 9:15 A.M., at the funeral home followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00 A.M.
