William Hayes, Jr. was born on July 23, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio. He departed his life on September 7, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. Junior died alone without his family by his side, due to the corona virus. He was preceded in death by his parents, TJ and Katie Mae Hayes, sister Ethel Arrington and brother Curtis Hayes.

He was a very kind person that could light up the room with his smile and personality. Unfortunately, he suffered with a mental disease that kept him from fulfilling all that his true personality could offer to this world. He would do anything for anyone. He was warm, kind, generous and loving. The kindness that so many of lack was within him.

He leaves to cherish so many that loved him. Sisters Herdia Hodges (John) of Toledo, Ohio, Kathleen Jett (Robert) of Monroe, Michigan and Shirley Patterson of Cleveland, Ohio. Brothers: Donald and Franklin Hayes of Toledo, Ohio. Special aunts Velma White and Genetta Fitzgerald and special cousin, Margell Campbell along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
