Shirley Ann Pate Shirley Ann Pate of Franklin, Indiana formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away Sunday October 23, 2011. Shirley was born on September 10, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio to Louis and Lucille (Priest) Lutes. She was a graduate of Waite High School and retired from Northwood Elementary in Franklin where she worked in the cafeteria. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Pate in 1973, sister, Martha, brothers, Jay, Miles, Steve, and Elroy. Surviving are her daughters, Brinda Stafford, Jean (Doug) Bedee, son, Robert A. (Cheri) Pate, sisters, Laura (Gilbert) Chesson, Bonnie Rives, brother, Charles Lutes, grandchildren, Amy (Dave) Smith, Carrie (Nick) Person, Melissa Stafford, Dustin (Meg) Bedee, Samantha Stafford, Haley Bedee, Doyle Bedee, and great grandchildren, Emma and Lucas Smith and Henry and Samuel Person. The family will receive friends at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd Thursday October 27, 2011 from 2-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 28, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. interment will follow in Troy Twp. Cemetery, Luckey Ohio. The family suggests memorials to the Toledo Humane Society.
