Pamela Louise Vernon

Pamela Louise Vernon (Cisterino), 77, passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2022. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 14, 1945. She was a graduate of Libbey high school and went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Larry Vernon. Together they raised four children as well as having a hand in raising their nieces Christine Neal and Danielle (Oliver) Cisterino-Hajdu.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Marian (McIntosh) Cisterino; sister, Patricia Neal (Cisterino); husband, Larry Vernon; daughter, Michelle Lord; son, Larry Vernon Jr.; and many other loved ones. She is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Christopher) Sweatt; son, Patrick Vernon; son in law, Jeffrey Lord; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as her beloved dog Charlie.

Nana Pam was very fond of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and would light up whenever they would visit her. She was so proud of them and would brag about and celebrate all of their accomplishments no matter how big or small. Pam was a fierce Ohio State Buckeyes fan, come game day she would always have all her gear on ready for a win. She loved holidays when she would get to put her baking skills on display for all of her family. Pam enjoyed the outdoors and being on the boat, she was happiest when the sun was shining and her skin was tan. She was a devoted wife, mother, nana, and aunt and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Services for Pamela will be held at Saint Charles Catholic Church at 1842 Airport Hwy. Toledo, Oh 43609 on September 17, 2022 at 11 am. Immediately following the family will hold a luncheon at 15800 Chamberlain Rd. Bowling Green, Oh 43402.
