Norman N. Conrad Norman N. Conrad, 91 of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 5, 2013 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo campus. Norman was born on April 16, 1921 in Logan, Ohio to Harvey and Blanche (Funk) Conrad. Mr. Conrad served in the US Coast Guard during WWII. Mr. Conrad retired from the Medical Mutual as maintenance supervisor. Prior to Medical Mutual, he operated Conrad's Gulf service center at the corner of Byrne and Glendale. Norman was an avid golfer for many years in Ohio, Michigan and Florida. Norman was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy (Zolciak) Conrad, his second wife, Bridget (Seeger) Conrad, parents Harvey and Blanche Conrad, brother, Harvey Conrad Jr. Surviving are his son, Nicholas (Gail) Conrad, daughter, Deborah (Gary) Klaiber, sister, June Ann Morse, grandchildren, Christian Klaiber, Dorothy Jean Klaiber (Derek) Gibson, Robin Lynne Conrad (Joe) Burke, great grandchildren, Logan Roytek, Joseph Burke, Shawn Burke, Krystina Klaiber, loving companion, Viola Funk, as well as nieces, nephews, step-children, and step-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013 in the Swan Lake Chapel at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Hope United Methodist Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Arrangements by the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home.
