Norma Brown

Norma Louise Brown, age 96 of Toledo, Ohio peacefully passed away with her family beside her on January 16, 2022. Norma was born on September 6, 1925 to Raymond and Cecil Clark (Schrock) in Greentown, Indiana. As a young woman she worked for the Nickel Plate Railroad where she managed train depots. She transferred to McClure Ohio where she met her future husband and started her family.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Brown, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Surviving are her daughter Melinda Brown (Douglas Justus), sons, Mark and Matthew, and 3 grandchildren, Aaron Justus, Olivia Justus, and Zoe Brown. She was also blessed with many caring nieces and nephews who remained in contact with her over the years.

Friends and family described Norma as a caring woman always interested in the welfare of others. She had spunk, a quick wit, and loved to laugh. In her spare time, she liked to read, work crossword puzzles, and watch re-runs of the Lawrence Welk Show. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

A private graveside service will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
