Nellie M. Miller Nellie M. Miller, age 94 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday July 1, 2010 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek where she had been a resident for the past two years. Nellie was born on April 2, 1916 in Buffalo, N.Y to James E. and Mable M. (Mackey) Miller. Nellie was a graduate of Waite High School and Davis Business College. Nellie worked for the former First Federal Savings and Loan for 27 years as secretary to Ralph Kohring. Nellie was a longtime member of Concordia Lutheran Church and its senior group. Nellie's husband Stanley preceded her in death in 1999. Surviving is her daughter, Beverly (Ronald) Panning, grandchildren, Douglas (Jennifer) Panning, Christine Edgell, great grandchildren, Zachary and Alexander Panning, sister, Alice Tippey. The family will receive friends at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd Thursday July 8, 2010 4-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held Friday July 9, at 10:30 A.M. in Concordia Lutheran Church 3636 S. Detroit Ave. Interment will take place in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
