Melba J Shoemaker Melba J. Shoemaker, 61 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday November 3, 2012 in The Toledo Hospital of Lung Cancer. Melba was born on April 30, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to Marion and Georgia (Whitt) Favors. Melba worked as a STNA for a number of years. Surviving is her son, Jerry (Bridget) Hodge, brother, John (Vicki) Favors, grandchildren, Donny, John (Niki), Terry (Joan), James (Leah) Luce, 11 great grandchildren with one on the way. Also surviving are nieces, Monica, Theresa and Bobbie Jo, and numerous uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Heritage Church of God 3520 Strayer Rd. Maumee, Ohio 43537 at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday November 24, 2012 Pastor Lewis Kugawski officiating.
