Marilyn L. Looman



Marilyn L. Looman, 85 of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 29, 2020 in St. Luke's Hospital after a brief Illness. Mrs. Looman was born on June 14, 1935 in Bellevue, Ohio to Merlin and Evelyn (Kreider) Wolenslegel.



Mrs. Looman worked at the former Holiday Inn French Quarter in Perrysburg, Ohio for more than 30 years, retiring in 2006.





She enjoyed reading and watching her flowers bloom in the spring among many other leisurely activities, but mostly she enjoyed loving her children and the many grandchildren who all adored her. She was loved and cherished by each of them and will be greatly missed.





Mrs. Looman was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Looman Sr., mother, Evelyn Wolenslegel, father Merlin Wolenslegel, step father John Smoot, daughter, Melissa Grimm, son, James D. Looman Jr, brother, Donald Woleslegel, grandson Adam Rodriguez, great granddaughter Adriyana Monroe and her much loved fur-babies Kai-Ci and Tee-Jay.



Surviving are her daughters, Kimberle (Paul) Morris, Pamela Looman, brother, Stephen Smoot, 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.



A private family graveside service will be held Saturday July 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in Lake Twp Cemetery. Arrangements by the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd.
