Kathryn Ramlow

Kathryn Mary Ramlow Kathryn Mary Ramlow, passed away on August 31, 2017 at Elizabeth Scott Community. She was born on May 24th, 1925 in Port Clinton, Ohio to parents, Robert and Norah Anderson. Following High School graduation she became a cadet nurse at Flower Hospital and worked as an RN for 25 years. Kathryn married Bertram A. Ramlow on August 28, 1948. In 1951 they joined Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active on many committees over the years. She was a member of Flower Hospital Alumni. Upon retirement, she cared for family, volunteered for Mobile Meals, and Red Cross Blood Drives. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bertram, her son Eric Ramlow, brothers Robert and Arthur Anderson, nephews Robert Anderson III and Gerald Anderson, and a niece Gail Anderson. Surviving are her son John Ramlow, daughter Constance (Michael) Kramer, daughter-in-law Margaret Ramlow, grandsons Chris, Matt (Sarah), Adam (Paige) Ramlow, and step grandson Kevin Davis, and step great-granddaughter Mackenzie Davis, nieces Sharon Metford, Trish Taylor, Linna (Larry) Cohen, and Donald (Barbara) Ramlow, and 8 grand nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Annabel Anderson. Also surviving are her close friends Naomi and Marion Layman. The family will receive friends at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 1825 Glendale Ave. on Saturday, September 2, after 10 am, where services will be held at 11:00 am.
