Helen Jurek

Helen Jurek Helen Jurek, age 88 of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Wednesday March 23, 2011 in her residence. Helen was born on December 25, 1922 in Ottawa, Ohio to Lewis and Ethel (Irwin) Miller. Helen attended Libbey High School and worked for the former Walding-Kinnan & Marvin Co. as an order processor for many years. Helen enjoyed being with her family and also enjoyed Knitting and Crocheting. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Arthur M. Jurek and infant daughter Sharon Jurek, brother, Cliff Miller, sisters Mary Scott and Vera Tornow. Surviving are nieces and a nephew and great nieces and nephews. The family would like to send a special thanks to Jennifer, Shenise, Jenny and Nurse Lori from Senior Independence Hospice for the Loving Care shown to Helen. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 26, 2011 at 12:00 Noon in the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd the family will receive friends after 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Roth Cemetery in Monclova Twp, Ohio. The family suggests memorials to Senior Independence Hospice.
