Gisela Lacomb

Gisela LaComb, 83, passed away on August 22, 2017 at UTMC. Born in Danzig, Germany to Franz and Antonie (Augutinowitz) Witkowski, she traveled to the US in 1956 and became a citizen. She married Jerry LaComb who preceded her in death. Gisela worked as a cashier for Seaway Foodtown for 30 years both at the Southland and the Door and Secor locations. Left behind to cherish her memory are her son Gerald (Korina) LaComb; granddaughters Denise LaComb and Diana Hinz; great-grandchildren Tyler LaComb, Marvin LaComb, Lyon Hinz; Gerald's mother-in-law Erick Stock; and her brother Kurt (Sheryl) Witkowski. A graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 2224 Door St. on Friday, September 1st at 11:00 a.m. with Father James Auth officiating.
