Frederic P Heidt

Frederic P. Heidt, age 85 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday May 22, 2010 in his residence. Born May 1, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio to Harry A. and Jane Catherine (Herrmann) Heidt. Mr. Heidt was an Army Veteran of WWII serving in the European and Pacific theater. Frederic worked for the Penn & New York Central, Conrail and Amtrack Railroad for 43 years retiring in 1986. He also worked for Handi-Van transport retiring when he was 70. Frederic's family help establish the former Western Ave. United Methodist Church and has been attending Bethel Lutheran Church. Frederic was preceded by his wives Virginia Rose and Eleanor Heidt, Son, Michael R. Heidt. Surviving are his son's Randy A. (Debra), Scott S., Thomas M. (Nanette) Heidt, Daughter, Cathy (Steven Stucker) Fair, Step-Daughters, Deborah and Lillian R. Fagan, Sister, Hazel L. Decker, Daughter In law Marsha Heidt, friend Margaret Glesser, 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd. Wednesday May 26, 2010 2-8 P.M. where services will be held Thursday at 10:30 A.M. Interment Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Bethel Lutheran Church or to the Charity of the Donor's choice.
