Ernest R. Heller

Ernest R. Heller went home to be with his Lord and Savior January 16, 2018. He was born to Rudolph and Natalie (Kirsch) Heller on January 27, 1929. Ernie served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was a Tool and Die Maker, retiring in 1996 from Die Cast Tool . He was as a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife of 59 years Alice (Soldner), daughters, Lisa (Jim) Janowiecki, Brenda (Tom) Wodarski, Joni (Doug) Tolles, grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mcarthur, Janell Heller, Todd Janowiecki, Alicia McCaffrey, great grandchildren. Loki, Chase and Caroline Rose, sister Ann Westin also surviving are several beloved sister-in-laws and brother- in-laws and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns on Thursday January 18, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. where services will be held on Friday January 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Korean War Veterans association services Thursday evening. Interment to take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests Memorial to the Cherry Street Mission, or WLMB.
