Elsie E 'Dolly' Jacobs

Elise E. "Dolly" Jacobs, age 83, Holland, Ohio formerly of Cragmoor Ave. and a resident of the Elizabeth Scott Community for the past 5 years, passed away in Hospice of Toledo on February 12, 2010. Born in Toledo to Michael and Frances Zientek. Dolly was a member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church for many years, Toledo area Polka Society (Taps), International Music Society (IMA), U.T. Polish Mothers Club, Eagles and the 55+ Club of St. Vincent De Paul's. Dolly was preceded in by her husband Joseph L. Jacobs, grandson, Eric Shier. Surviving are her daughter, Jan (Terry) Shier, son, Tim (Penny) Jacobs; grandchildren, Jennifer Baublitz, Amy (Stefan) Asbock, Susie (Jeff) Roncone, Josh (Shannon) Jacobs, Joel Shier, great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jared, Jaden Baublitz, sisters, Lucille (Ray) Borysiak, Agnes Sorge. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. at Byrne Rd., on Monday February 15, 2010, 3-7 P.M. with a scripture service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday February 16, at 9:30 a.m. followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church. Interment Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
