Elroy Lemar Myers

Elroy LeMar Myers, 92 of Toledo, Ohio passed away in his residence February 11, 2017. Mr. Myers was born in Toledo on August 31, 1924 to Charles and Augusta (Fehilo) Myers. He was an Army Airforce Veteran of WWII. Mr. Myers began his steel fabricating career at Toledo Steel Fabricators for 25 years, continued at Toledo Tank and retired from Maumee Valley Fabrication Shop. Elroy was active life time member of the Yankee Air Museum restoring vintage aircraft and a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Downtown Toledo. Elroy was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years Jean LaVelle in 1996. Surviving are his daughters, Becky Myers, Laurie Myers, son, Dale Myers, grandchildren, Heather Allen, Alyssa (Martin) Pope, Danica Myers, Melody (Dennis Rife) Williams, great grandchildren, Kayla Hensley, Elizabeth Allen, Kathyrn Allen, Megan Allen. Visitation is at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Road on Tuesday February 14, 2017 after 10:00 a.m. where services will take place at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
