Earl F Kardatzke Earl F. Kardatzke, age 93 of Monclova, Twp, Ohio formerly a resident of Maumee and West Toledo, passed away Monday October 4, 2010 in the Avalon by Otterbein of Monclova. Born on July 7, 1917 in Toledo, Ohio to Emil C. and Anna (Kulow) Kardatzke. Mr. Kardatzke was an elevator mechanic for Haughton Elevator Co for 32 years retiring in 1980. Earl was a member the Northern Light Lodge No. 40 F. & A.M., Ft. Miami Calumet Chapter No. 191, Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo, Zenobia Shrine, Mr. Kardatzke was avid competitive shooter of Pistols and Rifles, he was an active member of the NRA, past president of the Ohio Rifle and Pistol association. Earl was preceded in death by his wife Marian in 1994. Surviving is his son, Tim (Jan) Kardatzke, daughter, Susan Wolfe, Grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom) Conroy, Lisa (Dan) North, James Wolfe II, great grandchildren, Kallie and Molly Conroy, Braedon and Connor North. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd Thursday October 7 2010 from 3-9 P.M. with Northern Light Masonic Services to be held at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Interment will be held in Toledo memorial park cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the shrine hospitals.
