Doris Adele Garms

Doris Adele Garms, age 87 of Toledo passed away May 26, 2010 at the Goerlich Center. Doris was born September 30, 1922 to the late Arthur and Eva (Graf) Jennings. Doris was a 1940 graduate of Libbey High School and was a member of the Margaret Hunt Senior Center Doris was preceded in death by her husband James J. Garms and daughter, Lorna Mae Bascom, brother, Richard Jennings. Surviving is her sister Deanna (Art) Funka, Grandchildren, Baron (Lisa) Bascom, Michelle (Al) Carrow, Kristopher Franklin, Great Grandchildren, Bailey, Lathe, Brittany, Lauren, Dustin, Great Great Grandchildren, Aayden, Gage, Niece Shelly (Danny) Thomas, Nephew, Clifford (Laura) Funka III., Mike (Carie) Jennings, Scott Jennings, Great Niece Alexa Funka, Brittany & Tori Jennings, Great Nephews, Corbin Funka, Jacob & Dylan Jennings, Robert & Christopher Thomas. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Maumee United Methodist Church 405 Sackett Street Maumee, Ohio Tuesday June 1, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Maumee United Methodist Church.
