Donald L Hayes

Donald Lee Hayes was born to the union of TJ and Katie
Mae Hayes on May 12. 1960. He peacefully passed
away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 surrounded by family at
St. Luke's Hospital. He loved being around family, and
always brought joy and laughter to everyone he came in
contact with. He had always been the life of the party.
His well-known saying (HOT----) always made us
laugh. There was never a dull moment when he was
around. He will be greatly missed by his family and
friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, TJ and
Katie Mae Hayes, sister Ethel Arrington and brothers
Curtis Lee Hayes and William Hayes Jr.
Donald leaves to cherish his memory, sisters Herdia
Hodges (John) of Toledo, OH, Kathleen Jett (Robert) of
Monroe, MI and Shirley Patterson of Cleveland, OH;
brother, Franklin Hayes (Erica) of Toledo, OH; special
aunts Ludella Hayes, Novella Holloway, Velma White
and Genetta Fitzgerald. Special cousin, Margell
Campbell who has always been by our side since the
passing of our father; special longtime friend, Robert
Selvey and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
