Brenton George Sovich

Brenton G. Sovich Brenton G. Sovich, 79 of Independence, Missouri passed away peacefully on February 13, 2011. Mr. Sovich was born in Hobart, Indiana to Peter and Veronica (Wellan) Sovich. Brenton was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Sovich was a graduate of Notre Dame University, South Bend, Indiana, and Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Brenton worked in the juvenile court of Jackson County, Missouri for 29 years. Brenton is survived by his wife Ruth of 46 years, sister Barbara Wyatt of Indiana, brother in-law Theodore (Joann) Gernheuser, of Toledo, Ohio and many, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd on Friday February 18, 2011 2-8 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday February 19, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place following the services in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
