Barbara Jean Luettke Barbara Jean Luettke, 81 of Whitehouse, Oh passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011 in the Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. Barbara was born on June 9, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio to Walter and Evelyn J (Oliver) Norris. Following her graduation from Libbey High School in 1948 Barbara co-founded Champion Cleaners on South Street where she remained active for 60 years. Her love of sewing added greatly to the business as well as her own personal enjoyment. Mrs. Luettke attended the Church of the Cross United Methodist Church and was a member of Quota for many years serving as chapter president several times and was also a member of ABWA. Barbara was a "Loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many." Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Donald. whom she married on June 17, 1950, daughter, Lynette (Charles) Kahle, Sons, Gregory (Susan) Luettke, Martin (Shelley) Luettke, sister, Joan Graham, brother, Walter (Gusti) Norris Jr, grandchildren, Dylan Kahle, Kelly (Mike) Downey, Amie (Jeff) DeTray, 4 great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd on Thursday July 14, 2011 4-8 P.M. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 15 at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of the Cross United Methodist Church, 1806 Cass Rd. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000 E.
