Arlene Evearitt

Arlene Killian Evearitt died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on September 23, 2018 in Toledo, Ohio just five days short of her 92nd birthday.

Arlene was born on September 28, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Jessie (Baker) Killian Sr. Arlene married Richard Evearitt Sr. in Stubin County, Indiana on July 10, 1948. Over time, the couple welcomed twelve children into their home.

Arlene is survived by her loving husband Richard; daughters, Donna Pluckhorn, Cheryl Swicegood, Caroline Sobb, Barbara Kachenmeister, and Sandra Evearitt; sons, Richard Evearitt Jr., Lynn Evearitt, Donald Evearitt, Terry Evearitt, and James Evearitt. Also surviving are 19 grandkids, 33 great-grandkids, and 2 great-great grandkids. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Killian Jr.; sisters, Helen Szymanski, Marie Foltz, twin sister Eileen Voegeli, Carol Cox, Marge Barnes, and Kathy Jagodzinski; sons, Thomas Evearitt, and Robert Evearitt.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the American Legion, 204 Illinois Ave. in Maumee. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Arlene's life.
