BOYER
VAN-WORMER SCOTT FUNERAL HOME
In 1899, Mr. Beryl Boyer established a locally and family owned funeral home committed
to service. His son-in-law, Kenneth Van-Wormer succeeded him in this endeavor and
since the early 1980ís the Scott family has owned and operated the home in the same,
quality tradition.
We have a large facility located on Secor Road, just north of Laskey. Our facility
is such that we can provide a small, home like atmosphere while accommodating even
the largest of funerals.
BERSTICKER-SCOTT FUNERAL HOME
In 1925, Mr. Bersticker opened his doors on Maumee Avenue to the South Toledo community.
As the reputation of excellent service and quality increased, the Berstickers built
the current home on Heatherdowns in the 1950ís. Mr. Scott purchased the home in the
early 1980ís holding to the excellence in serving families of Northwest Ohio.
In 1958, Mr. Charles M. Scott Sr. began his pursuit of serving the funeral needs
of the community. Mr. Scott, along with his family, Charles Scott Jr., Robert Scott
and Martin OíConnell, are dedicated in serving your family. We strive to provide
you with an atmosphere of comfort, trust and excellence, while you plan your loved
ones services.
